Alex Babbidge
Alex Babbidge is a Founder of B2 Construction and assists in the oversight and management of the company. Alex is also President of Babbidge Construction, a full-service general contracting and construction management firm in New Haven, Connecticut where he is responsible for business development, estimating, preconstruction services, and project oversight. Babbidge Construction is a private company founded in 1992 by Alex and to date has completed hundreds of projects for private, institutional and commercial clients, including over 200 projects for Yale University and the Yale School of Medicine.
Alex’s project experience includes jobs ranging in scope from $200,000 to $25,000,000 for clients such as Yale School of Medicine, Yale University, Neighborhood Music School, Yale New Haven Hospital, Wesleyan University, Trinity College and many more. Alex began working in the construction industry after high school as a laborer and has worked as a carpenter, project assistant, superintendent, project manager and estimator. He also was Founder and President of Mascotopia, a developer and manufacturer of sports licensed infant and toddler items, which Alex sold in 2006.
Alex is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he earned his MBA in 1999 and Yale University, where he earned his BA in 1985.
